I am Ove, based in Sydney, i am learning cloud and web development.

I have been a technology enthusiast since i was very young, it started with my first slide phone and escalated from there. Over the years the passion has evolved into a career in IT and a love for learning new technologies.

My professional career started in the mortgage servicing industry with some exposure to IT Support. If i am being honest, i thought IT was not for me, it had too many rules and requirements and was not easy to understand quickly, however. Once i sat down and invested the time i really started to appreciate it for what it is and what it could be.

I transitioned into a technical support role and was itching to plant my flag in IT and pick my path forward. I started by learning Cloud Certificates, from Azure to AWS i started to pick up concepts and fell in love. It was when i was studying for my Developer Associate that the field of development peaked my interest. A few months passed and i decided to try my hand at Linux, i started hosting WordPress sites and started to look into more traditional forms of development. I finally stumbled across NextJS and NuxtJS and i was hooked.

Today, I am studying a Diploma in Information Technology (Back and Front End Development) and mastering my craft. I am learning modern frameworks with amazing practical applications. What really made me take the leap was my father, an experienced programmer urged me to take my interest in the field seriously and to pursue what makes me happy. Here i am, learning and practicing, we all start somewhere.
